A D V E R T I S E M E N T

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites online application from Citizens of India for filling up of 2 (two) posts of Lecturer in Civil Engineering, Govt. Polytechnic under the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Arunachal Pradesh in the Pay Band-3 15600-39100/- with Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of ₹5400/- (Pre-revised).

The functional requirement shall be as per the Gol Notification No. 38-16/2020-III Dated 04.01.2021.

 

(A) HOW TO APPLY

(1) Before filling the Online Application Form for the post advertised, a candidate must mandatorily register for ONE TIME REGISTRATION (OTR).

(2) Those who have already registered in OTR need not register again and they can directly login to fill up online form using the same user ID and password.

(3) Candidates are required to apply online on https://.appsc.gov.in. Detailed instructions for One Time Registration (OTR) and Online Application are available on the APPSC website (https://.appsc.gov.in). The applicants are advised to submit only single application, however, if due to any unavoidable situation, he/she submits another/multiple applications, the

application with the highest Registration ID (RID) will be accepted by the Commission.

Therefore, the highest RID application should be complete in all respects. The fee paid

against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.

 

(4) Applicants in Government Service should also apply directly on the APPSC website. Such applicants have to upload a copy of intimation submitted to their respective Heads of Department or NOC issued by the department.

NOTE: The online application submission link shall be active from 1700 hours on 13.06.2024 till last date of submission i.e. before 1700 hours on 12.07.2024 on the APPSC website.

(B) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

1st Class Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology OR If the candidate has a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology, 1 Class or equivalent is required at Bachelors OR Masters Level.

(C) AGE LIMIT

Not exceeding 35 years of age as on 12.07.2024. However, the upper age limit is relaxable in accordance with the orders issued by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time.

(D) METHOD OF SELECTION

The selection will be made through Viva-Voce/Interview. (Total marks -100)

In case the number of applicants is more than the desired ratio, the Commission may conduct a Recruitment Test, the details of which will be notified separately.

Recruitment Test, if conLecturer_Civil_20240613_104724ducted may be objective/subjective examination in concerned subject and will be tentatively held in 4th week of July, 2024. The syllabus and scheme for the examination will be made available on the Commission’s website in due course of time.

(E) SCANNED DOCUMENTS AND INFORMATION TO BE UPLOADED

(1) Signature of the candidate on white paper with black ink pen (40-50 kb in jpg format).

(2) Latest/Recent color passport size photo (40-100 kb in jpg format). The photograph is to be in white background, front faced and without headgear and sunglasses.

(3) Self-Attested photocopy of Degree/Master Degree certificates and Mark Sheets issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice-Chancellor of the concerned University to ascertain degree.

(4) Self-Attested photocopy of Matriculation Certificate for proof of age issued by the Board only will be accepted.

(5) Self-Attested Photocopy of APST certificate.

(6) Person with Disability (PwD) candidates should submit disability certificate issued by the certifying authority as per Section 57 of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

(F) APPLICATION FEE

(1) Candidates are required to pay fee of ₹150/- (Rupees One Hundred Fifty) only for APST candidate only.

(2) PwD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee as per Section 19 of the Arunachal Pradesh Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018.

(G) LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION: 12.07.2024 (1700 Hours)

(H) INTERVIEW/VIVA-VOCE:

Eligible candidates will have to produce the above-mentioned (at Point E) Certificates/Documents and Mark Sheets in original at the time of interview, failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear in the interview.

NOTE:

(1) The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of candidate for admission to Recruitment Test/Interview/Selection will be final and no correspondence or personal enquiry will be entertained.

(2) Date for the Recruitment Test/Interview of the eligible candidates will be intimated separately.

(3) The selection will be provisional subject to verification of requisite documents/ qualifications by the indenting department.

(4) In case of PwD candidates, the selection process will be as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and Arunachal Pradesh Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018 as amended from time to time.
